On Tuesday, October 8, YAD "Raised the Bar" with our annual cellathon. Not only were we successful in bringing together 27 YAD volunteers, we spread the powerful message that the Winnipeg Jewish community is important, and worth supporting.

As a collective group we raised $39,602 for the Combined Jewish Appeal. The dollars raised will be used to build a stronger Jewish community. 

A special thank you goes out to our gracious hosts Benji Itzkow, David Carr, and Jared Akman & Leanne Zimmer. 

We would also like to acknowledge Bob Silver, Daniel Friedman, Dov Secter, and Adam Levene for their inspiring words at each of the households. Finally thank you to Federation staff Adam Bronstone, Elaine Goldstine, Judi Price-Rosen and Lesley Garscadden for helping to make the evening run smoothly.
