Please join us and the Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada from the safety of your own home on November 9 for the community-wide virtual Kristallnacht commemoration: "Stolpersteine: Disrupting Narratives of Spatial Appropriation” with keynote speaker Dr. Ralph Stern. Unfortunately, due to Code Red restrictions, the accompanying Stolpersteine exhibit in the Holocaust Education Centre has been closed.

The stolpersteine (stumbling stones) commemorate the last location a person chose to live before they became victims of Nazi terror. Today, some 80,000 stumbling stones in 26 European countries pay tribute to the individuals murdered by the Nazis.
