Mayor Bowman met Feb 15th with his Advisory Committee on Age Friendly and Seniors and discussed concerns and strategies for making Winnipeg more age friendly, which makes it more accessible and amenable for everyone. Faye Rosenberg-Cohen, Federation Community Planning and Allocations Director, is a member of the committee using her experience in convening groups around issues in aging and transportation to bring news, ideas, strategies to, and give voice to concerns from, the Jewish community. She expressed her gratitude to the Mayor for being an advocate for all of Winnipeg’s communities.
