PJ Our Way CONNECTOR – PJ Library Connectors are the face of PJ Library in their community, helping families strengthen relationships with one another and the local Jewish community.

PJ Our Way Connector Responsibilities:
- Initiate and host one on one interactions or touchpoints with families with PJ Our way children
- Conduct regular check ins with families
- Respect and adhere to all confidentiality guidelines
- Plan and host small or intimate group gatherings, engage in partnerships
- Keep a record of community building efforts
- Engage in ongoing mentorship sessions and evaluations
- Provide time flexibility (weekends, evenings, and specific hour commitments)
- Professionally represent the program and organization throughout the community
- Coordinate your own transportation for all areas of work
- Bring new ideas and initiatives for community building through low-barrier Jewish experiences and provide PJ Library-inspired Jewish content to parents/grandparents and children (8-13 years old).
PJ Connector Connector Information for PJ Our Way Role
Are you a parent in the Winnipeg Jewish community who has a child between 8-13 years of age and are interested in connecting families to each other and to community?
Become a PJ Our Way Connector! It is a great way to build your own network and help other families and tweens build a strong sense of community in Winnipeg.
The successful applicants will receive:
- Great orientation, ongoing support and mentorship by a highly trained engagement professional.
- Payment ($22/hour) for an average of 4-5 hours per week to attend meetings, plan programs, reach out and meet with other families, host events, etc. up until the end of June 2025.
- Great new connections and an opportunity to grow your own network throughout the community.
- Opportunity to use your communication and creative planning skills to benefit many others and bring community together.
- Opportunity to positively impact programming throughout the community for this demographic.
