Interim Director of Advancement & Alumni Relations

Term Position October 2024 – October 2025

 

Gray Academy is more than a school. It is a foundational pillar of community building. A place where lifelong relationships are formed. Building, nurturing and enhancing those relationships is key to the long-range success and sustainability of Western Canada’s only Junior Kindergarten – Grade 12 Jewish day school.

 

The Interim Director of Advancement & Alumni Relations will be guided by a comprehensive strategy and help lead exciting initiatives to build stakeholder engagement and support charitable giving to Gray Academy.

 

Duties and responsibilities include stewardship, leading and advancing philanthropic opportunities, data management, grant writing, event planning and fostering and cultivating relationships with alumni towards volunteer engagement so that Gray Academy continues to be integral to their lives beyond graduation.

 

Qualifications

• University Degree and/or commensurate experience in fundraising or related field.
• Proven track record of strategic planning, program development, grant writing, event planning and fundraising, preferably in a school or not-for-profit environment.
• Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
• Energized by Gray Academy’s mission, vision and values (alumni background is an asset).
