Reverse Tashlich
Women’s League of Congregation Etz Chayim and Congregation Etz Chayim and have registered with the Reverse Tashlich Program sponsored by Repair the Sea, a growing organization consisting of 245 Jewish communities throughout Canada and the United States who come together to clean their local waterfront environments during High Holidays.
Our tradition teaches us to “throw our sins into the sea”. Reverse Tashlich teaches us to clean up the sea, waterways, lakes, ponds, parks, etc. It is our time to care about our environment from a Jewish perspective.
To this end, we have included this wonderful Reverse Tashlich Program into this year’s High Holiday programming on Friday, September 22, 2023. We hope that this sounds interesting and has piqued your interest to make plans to join us at Muys park in Lindenwoods.
