Three-time Grammy nominated bassist/composer/conductor John Clayton is one of the most in demand jazz musicians in North America.  A master of swingin’ straight ahead groove, John returns to our stage for the third time with his superb quintet featuring his equally famous brother Jeff on saxophone, gifted son Gerald on piano, and trumpet virtuoso Terrell Stafford. Besides stints as Artistic Director of Jazz for the prestigious Los Angeles Philharmonic and arranger/composer for the stars (Diana Krall and others), Clayton leads the acclaimed Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. His last visit brought down the house. We’re thrilled to have him back!
