The University of Manitoba Percussion Ensemble is delighted to be performing at the Rady Centre as part of the Family Concert Series!
This ensemble meets twice a week during the school year and performs concerts throughout the year both on and off campus. Percussion ensemble lends itself to a variety of musical styles and we are excited to bring a program called “Shared Spaces” to the Rady Centre. This program features everything from rag time xylophone to African inspired drumming to beautiful lullabies to a piece that doesn’t use any instruments at all!
There are seven students in the ensemble: Tim Roth, Alyssah Poiron, Paul Klassen, Elishia Ratel, Logan Cashin, Wyatt King and Aaron Witzke.
Join us for an exciting and energetic performance of works featuring the percussion students from the University of Manitoba under the direction of Victoria Sparks. You won’t be able to sit still during this concert, and we wouldn’t want you to!
Cost of the tickets per family $ 10, all members should be registered.
