Official opening ceremony of the newly renovated Holocaust Education Centre in the Berney Theatre followed by a reception in the Kanee Foyer. Our January 25^th event will feature keynote addresses by the Honourable Irwin Cotler, Canada’s Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism, an Peter Flegel, Executive Director, Government of Canada’s Anti-Racism Secretariat, the Hon.. Andrew Smith, Minister of Sport, Culture, and Heritage, and Janice Lukes, Deputy Mayor of Winnipeg.
