Father and son duo, Yuri Hooker, principal cello for the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and Ari Hooker, accomplished young pianist and winner of the 2023 Women’s Musical Club Scholarship, will team up for this Music ‘N’ Mavens recital. Featuring Sergei Rachmaninov’s Sonata in G Minor for Cello and Piano, this piece first premiered in Moscow in 1901.
