“Seeking Spiritual Wisdom in Difficult Times” Rabbi Amy Eilberg
In this weekly class, we study Mussar wisdom and hold sacred space for one another in the midst of our experiences as leaders during the pandemic. In this round of classes, we will consider middot -(qualities of soul) such as humility, gratitude, generosity, and sufficiency - such as anavah, hakarat hatov, nedivut and histap'kut - all central to living and leading in these times. In this way, we work to use this time of corona for own spiritual growth and deepening. Participants will be encouraged, when possible, to incorporate some Mussar practice and reflection into their week, and to read chapters from Alan Morinis' book, Everyday Holiness.
