Guest Speaker, David Matas, will speak about Jewish Refugees from Arab Countries. After the establishment of the State of Israel, over 800,000 Jews were driven from their ancestral homes in eleven Arab countries. No redress was ever given. More than half of today’s Israelis are descendants of these refugees. The Canadian Parliament and Government have considered whether redress for this population should form part of the peace process.
