Steven Schipper, Artistic Director of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre since 1989, has enhanced the company's artistry and developed a new base of audience members and donors. In 2007 Steven received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Winnipeg, and in 2012, was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada.
