Through Congregation Shaarey Zedek and Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood’s partnership with JCFS, this soup-making initiative invites community members to come together to prepare nourishing soups for individuals and families in our community experiencing illness or hardship, turning shared action into meaningful connection. Once made, the soup will be frozen and stored in the Shaarey Zedek Catering Facility and JCFS Office for distribution as needs arise in coordination with Shaarey Zedek Volunteers, Staff, and JCFS.

This event is designed for adults and teens ages 16+, and includes separate children’s activities (Ages 6+) with our Shinshinim (Israeli Youth Ambassadors). Lunch will be provided for all.

Everyone is welcome to participate — Members and non-members of the synagogue and Sisterhood. All skill levels welcome! All supplies provided.

Fee:
$25 per Person (Adults and Teens 16+)
Free for Children (Ages 6+, Tweens, and Teens attending the Child’s Activities)
