Congregation Shaarey Zedek and Allied Voices for Israel are pleased to Present Are Jews Indigenous to Israel?

One of the most common claims made against the State of Israel is that it is a European colonial enterprise. In this presentation, participants will learn how the Jewish people meet all of the internationally-accepted criteria for being indigenous to the land of Israel. They will then be able to use this information in order to effectively respond to this false claim of colonization.

Gabriela became involved in advocacy and student empowerment in 2019 and has since been an active advocate for Israel and the Jewish people on campus and in the community at large.Gabriela obtained her HBSc at the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing a Master's of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University. She has spoken at collaborative town halls, conventions and workshops with other Jewish organizations to increase awareness and find resolutions for current antisemitism concerns.
