Winnipeg is a tremendous place to live. With a population of about 700,000, Winnipeg is a clean and safe place, with economic stability and prosperity that is attractive to many immigrants from around the world. Our Jewish community has developed a reputation for being a welcoming place to make a new start and raise a family.

In the last few years, our Jewish community has been enriched by the arrival of hundreds of newcomers from Eastern Europe, South America and Israel. More than 800 Jewish families have immigrated to Manitoba through our Federation and the support of the Manitoba Nominee Program. More than 2000 people have made the Winnipeg Jewish community their home in the last 5 years.

If you're thinking of making a move, we can help answer your questions and guide you along the way. If you are invited to come on an exploratory visit by the JFW, you may be eligible to apply to the Manitoba Nominee Program with our support, under the Strategic Initiative of having the support of an ethnocultural community organization.

We'd love to welcome you to our community.

Proud to be Canadian!

The Brunstein family received their Citizenship Certificate on Wednesday October 21st, at 1:30pm. It was a very nice and touching ceremony where 61 people became Canadians. As everyone else, Davo got the opportunity to say what the ceremony meant to him. Here are Davo's words.
