Kavod Evening

The Jewish Federation of Winnipeg is pleased to annually host Kavod Evening, which recognizes outstanding leadership and volunteerism in the Winnipeg Jewish community.

Awards given out during Kavod Evening include:

• The Sol Kanee Distinguished Community Service Medal | Criteria 
• The Max and Mollie Shore Memorial Award | Criteria
• The Max Nathanson Young Leadership Award | Criteria | Nomination Form
• The Harry Silverberg Young Leader of Distinction Award | Criteria | Nomination Form

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, January 27. More details here.

Also given out during Kavod Evening are the Shem Tov Awards from the Federation and its partner agencies.

This year's Kavod Evening will take place Wednesday, May 23, 2011 at Congregation Shaarey Zedek (561 Wellington Crescent).
